Open Science Webinar Series

Project Description

The Open Science Webinar Series is co-organized by UbuntuNet Alliance and Access to Perspectives under the ORCID Global Participation Program. This series is dedicated to exploring the transformative impact of Persistent Identifiers (PIDs), specifically how they enhance the discoverability of African research on the global stage. The webinars focus on showcasing how selected scholarly services, particularly ORCID, ROR, and DOI, facilitate interoperability across various digital scholarly platforms to boost the visibility and accessibility of African research outputs. The ultimate goal is to empower African scholarly stakeholders with the knowledge and tools necessary to integrate these PIDs, ensuring their work is easily discoverable in the global scholarly landscape.
